Alianza and Aptilo Team to Integrate Hosted Voice Platform and WiMAX Service Management Solution

Alianza, a provider of hosted voice over WiMAX solutions, and Aptilo Networks, a supplier of integrated management solutions for control of billing, user services and access in WiMAX and Wi-Fi networks, announced they have formed a partnership to integrate Aptilo's WiMAX service management solution with Alianza's hosted voice platform.

The companies said the partnership will provide WiMAX service providers with advanced management and billing capabilities that will speed deployment of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) offerings to residential and business customers.
Alianza has certified the standards-compliant Aptilo WiMAX CSN (Connectivity Service Network) System with its hosted voice platform to provide a seamless back-office experience. Aptilo WiMAX CSN is the market's first integrated wireless broadband data and voice services solution for standards compliant mobile WiMAX authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA), policy management and service control. It is a flexible, multi-access (WiMAX/Wi-Fi) platform for service providers to deliver on revenue objectives and meet their time-to-market deadlines, while requiring minimal integration.

With the integration of Aptilo's system, Alianza customers will benefit from comprehensive reporting and statistics tracking tools that process and present data on service usage such as subscriber sessions, payment history, and bandwidth usage. The integrated data and voice services provide authentication, authorization and accounting through multiple authentication types, with support for VoIP services and prepaid data.
