Vic: Two new judges appointed to County Court

MELBOURNE, Dec 11 AAP - Two new judges have been appointed to the Victorian County Court.

Philip Misso and Katherine Bourke will join the County Court bench, bringing a wealth
of legal experience and diverse skills, Attorney-General Rob Hulls said today.

Mr Misso has 28 years' experience as a barrister, appearing in civil and criminal cases
and specialising in personal injury, public liability and medical negligence.

Ms Bourke has practised across a range of legal areas, including administrative law,
alternative dispute resolution, inquests, occupational health and safety, personal injury
and professional negligence.

"I welcome these two new County Court appointments and I look forward to their contribution
to the Victorian justice system," Mr Hulls said.
