NSW: Man granted bail despite witness standover concerns

A man charged with the murder of a retired US Navy veteran has been granted bail in
a Sydney court, despite police concerns that witnesses could be stood over.

DOMINIC VEA, 19, from Doonside in Sydney's west is charged with the murder of 50-year-old
DAVID WESSEX at Kings Cross on December 27, 2000.

Mr WESSEX'S body was found at 2am in a room at the Discount Hotel in Darlinghurst Road,
Kings Cross.
