Vic: Geoff Clark banned from local pub
Suspended ATSIC chairman GEOFF CLARK has reportedly been banned from the Victorian
hotel where he obstructed police.
The Age newspaper says the publican at the Criterion Hotel in Warrnambool, in the state's
south-west, says Mr CLARK is not welcome at the hotel.
The Age says that under a local licensing accord, a patron banned from one hotel, club
or licensed restaurant in the Warrnambool area can be banned by all, from one month to
life.
Mr CLARK had his position of chairman of ATSIC suspended when he was charged over the
incident, which occurred at the pub in May last year.
Last week he was found guilty of the charge of obstructing police, but had another
charge of behaving in a riotous manner dismissed.
